We are excited to announce that 49 eighth grade Italian students from Collegio San Carlo in Milan, Italy will be spending 10 days (Oct. 20 - 30th) with us in Southern Maryland! We are in our 3rd year of this intercultural and interscholastic partnership. 4 Italian teachers and their 49 students will be staying with 34 American Host families. Italian students will focus on understanding the importance of our Nation's monuments while studying in our school. Students will take field trips to DC to see the monuments as well as to Annapolis to tour the MD State Capital and Naval Academy. This partnership will continue when our 7th and 8th grade students have the opportunity to visit Collegio San Carlo in March 2012.
