Help Bail Out Mr. Watters!

Mr. Watters needs your help! He's participating in the 3rd annual Jail & Bail, a “fun-raiser” co-hosted by the Sheriff of St. Mary’s County, Tim Cameron, and the Care Net Pregnancy Center of Southern Maryland. On Monday, September 19, 2011, the Sheriff is sending someone to arrest, handcuff, and take him to the Old Jail Museum in Leonardtown. Once there, he’ll be brought in front of Judge Ment with his court-appointed attorney, Ben Slick. Oh, the embarrassment!

In order for him to be bailed out, he needs to raise $1,500. This is where he could use your help. He has until September 19, 2011 to come up with the bail money and he's asking those who don’t want to see him left in jail to help raise his bail—you don’t want to see him in jail, do you? Any amount toward making his bail would be greatly appreciated.

Proceeds raised will benefit Care Net Pregnancy Center of Southern Maryland, a crisis pregnancy center that helps women explore their options when facing an unplanned pregnancy. They are serving over 5,000 clients annually and all of their services are free of charge. The $1,500 we raise will pay for one mom and her family to receive all of the services Care Net provides—pregnancy test, ultrasound, peer counseling, pre-natal education, parenting training, etc.

Should you choose to support Care Net and Mr. Watters, please send your donation in an envelope with your name and donation amount written on it. Please make all checks out to 'Care Net' and put St. John's School in the memo line. You can send the envelope in with your child. Thank you for your generosity and your heart for moms in crisis.
